Would You Ingest a Parasite, on Purpose?

How far would you go to lose weight? Would you let a 15-foot tapeworm live in your stomach in order to shed those unwanted pounds? The Tyra Show recently featured two women who would.

Click on the video above to see what a tapeworm looks like.

Chalk it up to shock TV, but it’s true that some people become so desperate when traditional diets fail that they are willing to swallow a parasite to consume their extra calories. While this is arguably one of the most extreme methods of losing weight, it’s actually nothing new. Ads dating back to the late 1800’s feature a woman promoting the “easy to swallow, sanitized” tapeworms in order to lose weight without diet or exercise. Sounds like a magic diet pill — eat whatever you want and still lose weight. Except this is no pill. It’s the same parasite found in undercooked meat and seafood that can make people extremely ill.

In case you’re not totally grossed out yet, here is how the tapeworm diet works: People ingest a tapeworm cyst from a cow (some come from pigs and fish too, but those are considered more dangerous). The tapeworm then grows inside the digestive track absorbing calories from your body, which can result in losing one to two pounds a week. Once the target weight is lost, an antibiotic is taken to get rid of the tapeworm.

Tapeworm sales are banned in the U.S. because they carry substantial health risks. While a sizable portion of ingested calories go to the tapeworm, so do vital nutrients. This can lead to vitamin deficiencies and anemia. Other harmful effects include abdominal pain, bloating, digestive disturbances and intestinal obstruction, according to Joan Salge Blake, a clinical associate professor of nutrition at Boston University. There is also the potential for putting the weight back on once the tapeworm is killed — if it doesn’t kill you first (some strains can be deadly). Plus, some tapeworms can grow to 50 feet, which is just downright disgusting, no matter how you look at it. It’s no wonder that “purposefully consuming tapeworms is not healthy,” according to Blake.

The risks far outweigh the benefits (you can drop one to two pounds a week with diet and exercise). Stick with the tried and true methods of losing weight, and leave the worms out of it.

Sources of Common Childhood Ailments Revealed!

Filed under: Uncategorized — druglessdoctor @ 2:41 pm

DrSuitShadToday I would like to talk about what we do naturally to help children and how they respond to Drugless Care.

If you were to come into my office on any given day we have a number of children of all ages being assessed structurally, making sure their spinal alignment is in order.  Have you ever thought of doing a posture check of your child?  After all, a healthy spine is a Healthy You.  Your spine is the conduit pipe for your nervous system.  Your nervous system controls the function of your body.  Regardless of what you may or may not consider about spinal function, keeping your spine aligned is a “NATURAL PRINCIPLE” that will help you stay healthy.  Concerning the nervous system and gravity, I have found over time it makes more sense to work with Mother Nature than against.   Here’s something to consider – The greater part of health challenges that I have been blessed to help over the last thirty years can be directly related to poor nervous system function.

Please be aware the health game has changed over the last few decades because of the toxins and stress in our environment.  Gravity has always been and always will contribute to subluxation or mis-alignment of vertebra causing small nerves that are carrying billions of messages to all the tissues in your body to be compressed.  I pray you have an understanding that your body is like a massive computer network.  Your brain is the main PC and all the USB attachments are along the spinal cord contributing vital information to and receiving input back to make life choices FOR YOU automatically. Yes, you read that right you do not have to think about it.

SpineGuyLet me tell you a scenario that I recognize daily; If your child had a traumatic birth, including a surgical presentation via a C-section, (or trauma after birth while walking or falling) , the tiny upper vertebra in the neck or cervical spine may have been pushed just enough out of place to create impaired function.  When a Mom questions me about her child and a chronic problem that no one has been able to fix, which is very common, and drugs are not helping, I always ask when the problem started and what happened.   I have seen headaches, asthma and digestive distress start because of TRAUMA; the most sever of which are car accidents.

Let me share with you some common conditions causes that I assist every day in my practice.

Symptom Common Cause
Asthma Misaligned mid back vertebra and adrenal stress is common.  These children tend to eat an excessive amount of citrus and drink a lot of citrus juice.  Their bodies need to become slightly more acid.  Check pH to create a plan.
Colic Misaligned lower mid and upper low back are often present.  It is best to avoid foods that create gas especially dairy in some children.  Chese and yogurt can be a challenge; also wheat is a common reason for digestive distress.  We assess our young patients with an infrared spinal thermography scan
Growing pains Frequently a result of low thyroid function and/or lack of calcium.  Consider a Health Survey to obtain proper supplementation.
Eczema Generally caused by not consuming enough blended oils; Omega 3-6-9
Cavities Seen with excessive sugar and grain based foods consumption.  Note: Do not use fluoride toothpaste!  Here’s a safe alternative.
Stomach aches Consumption of fatty foods.  Supplement with Peppermint Leaf, 5 drops in 4 oz of water daily
Chronic colds Lack of calcium based foods.  Avoid sugar, add calcium lactate
Sore muscles and joints Eliminate dairy and sugar which can be the cause of pain; supplement with Calcium Lactate – three daily.  Whole food B vitamins are helpful in eliminating sore muscles created by lactic acid buildup from not being eliminated
Always sick May want to add 3mg of iodine per day.  Iodine is a natural anti-septic.  Also add 3 Calcium Lactate daily on an empty stomach.  Calcium glues cell membranes together.  Avoid sugar and soda’s which paralyze the immune system
Cry easy Lack of B vitamins – Whole food b vitamin – 3 daily
ADHD No Trans Fat, avoid sugar, and dairy – these items inhibit DHA production.  DHA is the long chain fat for brain health

A natural anti-biotic for daily use would include 5 drops of Agrisept-L a citric seed extract of lemon, grape fruit and tangerine seeds.

A big question is then what should children really eat to help them obtain optimal health?   Read more here on the Page Diet.  It is a great template of a mid-glycemic diet.  While you’re at it, watch tonight’s live broadcast of the Half Hour to Health on Children’s Health at 6:15 PM ET. It’s interactive now, ask your questions instantly online and I will answer them on air during the broadcast.

Optimal Guide 3DAdditional resources:  All of the books that are in the Dr. Bob series are designed to answer questions that impact children and adults.  Dr. Bob’s Drugless Guide To Balancing Female Hormones will answer a number of common questions for females of ALL ages.  Dr. Bob Guide to Optimal Health has a section on Children’s Health and is a great resource.  Go to Drugless Media and look at the Video Library I have posted for you.  This is very serious.  I have treated many children who were near death because the right questions were not asked.  Do not take any challenge your child has lightly.  Children are your LEGACY.

I will be on TV with Marilyn Hickey and her daughter Sarah Bowling; I know you will enjoy the nuggets.  I have included   the schedule for the following programs that air next week.   You can also go to http://www.mymhmin.org/home to see more details. Tell your friends.

Women’s Health

Filed under: Uncategorized — druglessdoctor @ 2:29 pm

WomenAttMany women seem to have a favorite ‘empowerment’ song, whether it is Aretha Franklin’s “Respect”, “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor or your own personal favorite. While these provide triumph and confidence, rarely does an anthem focus on the jubilation of health.  Rather there are causes and support groups, such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  These groups provide resources, support and encouragement to those who have been afflicted with an illness personally or relationally, but rarely do they get to the ‘root’ of the health issues.  Well, today we will briefly touch a few vital topics of women’s health to provide clarity, resources, and solutions that can prevent disease.

Let’s Talk About Hormones –

What exactly is a hormone? A Hormone is a vital chemical substance found in humans and animals.  Often referred to as “chemical messengers”, hormones carry information and instructions from one group of cells to another.  In the human body, hormones influence almost every cell, organ and function.  They regulate our growth, development, metabolism, tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, the way our bodies use food, the reaction of our bodies to emergencies and even our moods.

The term “estrogen” includes a group of chemically similar hormones: estrone, estradiol (most abundant in women of reproductive age) and estriol.  Overall, estrogen is produced in the ovaries, adrenal glands and fat tissues. More specifically, the estradiol and estrone forms are produced primarily in the ovaries in premenopausal women, while estriol is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. Now, more than ever, balancing female hormones and estrogen is important for your overall health.  Estrogen levels that are too high or low means your body is significantly compromised.  Some examples of too much estrogen include tender breasts and heavy menstrual flow, which often result in life altering hysterectomies.  Other indications include spider veins throughout the legs and hemorrhoids.

Q. How can we balance our estrogen?

A. There are many simple solutions to help balance. The first is to eat your Dr. Bob’s ABC’s – 1/3 of a cup of organic beets, 1/2 a red apple ( and Gala) and 4 or 5 organic baby carrots every day. Next, is to make sure you are taking a whole food B vitamin.  SP Brand Cataplex B product review sheet.

Here are some additional recommendations when dealing with hormones:

  • Reduce/eliminate sugar: Take Gymnema, an herb from Standard Process to stop cravings.
  • Begin eating organic, whole foods: NO HERBICIDES.
  • Avoid canned food which is lined with BPA and causes an increase in estrogen levels.
  • Exercise regularly with weights, bands and large ball
  • Eliminate partially hydrogenate fats, and synthetic sweeteners. Instead use stevia.
  • Avoid Synthroid, it can create mineral and bone loss.
  • Avoid soy since it throws off estrogen balance (Ex: soy sauce, soy milk, soy lecithin).
  • Limit or eliminate dairy. Use rice, almond or oat milk.

The thyroid gland is also an important organ of the endocrine system located in front of the neck below the larynx consisting of two lobes on each side of the windpipe. The thyroid gland produces hormones from the thyroid tissue cells called triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) that regulates our metabolism and oxygen consumption of tissues. These hormones are comprised from iodine and amino acids from proteins.

Dr. Ruchi Mathur, is another doctor who stresses the importance of iodine.  Iodine is especially important for women’s health because the major function of the thyroid gland is to produce thyroid hormones.  And, to make the thyroid hormone, the thyroid uses iodine. If iodine is not available in the diet, the thyroid may produce an insufficient amount of hormones.  Thyroid deficiencies can result in anxiety, diarrhea, fatigue, hair loss, hand tremors, heat intolerance, insomnia, menstrual irregularities, muscle weakness, nervousness, palpitations, protruding eyeballs, rapid heartbeat, separation of nails, sweating, and weight loss.  The recommended daily consumption is low in the US.  To determine your personal iodine needs there are 2 methods available.  A urine iodine loading test, and TSH T3 T4 blood test.      Watch and educational video on iodine here.

To monitor your thyroid, take your armpit temperature periodically if you have the following body signals: Cold hands and feet, coarse hair, morning headaches, and thinning hair on the outer part of your eyebrows. To complete this test properly, have a thermometer ready by your nightstand. When you first awake, put the thermometer in your armpit, and lay there for ten minutes, with the optimal temperature being 97.8 degrees.  Celtic Sea Salt is an excellent source to add minerals to aid your thyroid gland.

Energy – Three Steps to Increase Energy Naturally!

EnergyKite

There are scores of examples of energy.  Solar, wind, and coal initially come to mind, with the first two mentioned increasing in awareness and development in an effort to help our planet stay “green.”  Like our external energy resources assist us in our daily lives, our personal energy levels need to come from the best available source for optimal longevity.

Many citizens worldwide choose a breakfast of pastries and a starchy high-carb lunch of macaroni and cheese or the likes.  These choices will result in a mid-afternoon urge for a little or ‘super-sized’ pick-me-up which is how the energy drink business is a $39.2 billion dollar machine worldwide.  Yet, the ingredients of these ’energy’ drinks, like caffeine and taurine can pose dangerous side effects.

So how do we safely increase energy – naturally?  Below are some viable action steps which are in order for us to stop yawning and start climbing Mt. Fuji with extra energy to spare:

  1. Limit wheat consumption.  i.e. Bread, pasta, pizza, crackers, pretzels and cereal. Most people love grains, but the grains we ingest sometimes do not love us. You may have, unknown to you, wheat sensitivity.  Gluten-free diets have become a buzzword within the food industry because of the revelation EnergyRun that many people in our country have this sensitivity.  Living wheat free may be a challenge at first, but it is worth it when you consider some of the effects that wheat has on wheat sensitive individuals.  These indications include:
  • Energy depletion
  • Digestive distress
  • Skin outbreaks

Currently gluten-free items can be more expensive, but there are many new websites targeted to those with sensitivities and have more options including: www.glutenfreeonashoestring.com

2.         Increase zinc and decrease copper consumption.  A colleague of mine, Ann Louise Gittleman wrote a book entitled, “Why am I always tired?” Her hypothesis included too much copper depletes zinc in our bodies, and those with low zinc cannot make enough insulin, leading to a decrease in energy.

Foods with zinc include:

  • Chicken
  • Turkey
  • Pumpkin seeds

Foods that displace copper, like manganese and sulphur:

  • Eggs
  • Green leafy veggies (kale and bok choy)
  • Onions
  • Cruciferous vegetables (broccoli and cauliflower)
  • Blueberries.

Foods with Vitamin C are also helpful to displace copper:

  • Bell peppers
  • Tomatoes
  • Strawberries
  • Kiwi fruit

3.         Take care of your adrenal and thyroid. An overworked and stressed adrenal gland and thyroid gland can deplete our energy levels.  Limit sugar and “yeasty” foods.  Again, foods containing Vitamin C will provide help, and deep sea vegetables like kelp and salmon and good source of Omega 3’s will benefit the thyroid.  Our office also supplies “Drenamin” and “Adrenal Dessicated” from Standard Process, which aid adrenals.  Note: Standard Process lab products are only available to patients or those who have completed a Health Survey.

WeightLossThis week’s product snapshot is “Dr. Bob’s Weight Loss and Energy Formula” which was created to assist in weight loss while providing herbs that offer “drugless” energy support. Some of the ingredients include:

  • Chromium- Increases the efficiency of insulin to optimal levels
  • Bee Pollen- Bee pollen helps you to cope more easily with stress. Because it has a full complement of amino acids, essential fatty acids and vitamins that help regulate mood, taking bee pollen supplements can help you control the stress in your life.
  • Licorice Root- Licorice root has been used as a dietary supplement for stomach ulcers, bronchitis, and sore throat, as well as infections caused by viruses, such as hepatitis.

Body Signals – What They Can Tell You

What exactly is a body signal?  A body signal is anything that your body is physically, emotionally and even mentally presenting to you at the moment.  Familiar body signals include: Skin breakouts, smelly feet, constipation, and headaches.  Having one body signal can be enough to cause anxiety over one’s health, but each of the previously mentioned ailments and many others can be eliminated and avoided all together if we first, eat correctly, and second, pay attention to our own specific body signals.

Two organs in the human body that attribute to inward and outward signals are the liver and the thyroid gland.  The liver’s function is to assist the body in absorbing what is needed for optimal health or for eliminating what is not.  If our liver is “plugged” up from external toxins, consumption of foods with hydrogenated oils, alcohol, cigarettes, and all sugar laden fare, body signals would include tiredness, dizziness, headaches, and a heavy metal taste in your mouth.

ThyroidThe thyroid gland, located near our throat, has many roles including regulating calcium metabolism.  When our bodies become over-stressed with work, family, and relationships, our thyroid is compromised which results in body signals such as cold hands and feet, depression, and thinning hair.

Now, a popular question in our culture is “What is the magic pill that can cure all body signals”?  Well, there isn’t a magic pill, but one nutritional resource that should be consumed by every person is iodine.  Iodine aids thyroid function which corrects brittle hair, dry skin, and fatigue; however, once you begin ingesting iodine (i.e. Iodoral) we recommend beginning with 6mg a day, or half a tablet.  To get more detailed information on the importance of Iodine read this and watch our Iodine videos which are posted in the media section of www.DruglessDoctor.com.

In addition to adding iodine to your diet, using a castor oil pack once a week is a tremendous way to soothe your liver.  No plant is as astonishing as the castor oil plant. Its bean, when eaten, is poisonous, but the oil from the seed is healing.  According to Dr. David G. Williams, a castor oil pack is an economical and effective way to absorb ricinoleic acid and castor oil’s other healing components into our body. If you have never used a castor oil pack before, the process is quite simple.  To make a castor oil pack you will need the following items:

1. Start by placing the heating pad on a flat surface and turn the setting to high.

2. On top of the pad lay the plastic garbage bag or plastic wrap.

3. Next, soak the flannel pieces with castor oil generally about 1/2 cup) and

4. Lay them on top of the plastic and heating pad.

3. The entire pack can now be placed against the body with the oil-soaked flannel on the skin.

For general conditions the pack should be placed on the abdomen. (For treating lower back problems, the pack can be placed over the affected area.) To help hold the pack in place and to keep oil from getting on bedding, etc., the body can be wrapped in a large bath towel.

  • The pack should remain in place for at least one hour and the temperature of the heating pad should be kept at the highest temperature tolerable to the patient.
  • Do not sleep with the pack on

When you remove the pack, the remaining oil can be massaged into the skin or cleaned off using soda water made from 1 quart of warm water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

The flannel can be reused, if stored properly, after removing the pack.  To store the saturated flannel, place the flannel in either a plastic bag or a plastic container and keep refrigerated.    Before your next application warm the flannel and add another 1 or 2 tablespoons of fresh cold pressed castor oil.  You can warm the flannel in a low temperature oven for 5-10 minutes, never use a microwave.

Iodine! Why you Need it…

Importance of Iodine

In many American’s diets, iodine is not a regularly consumed nutrient. As a result we are seeing a surge of health challenges arrive and thrive. To combat challenges like thinning hair, hypothyroidism, fibrocystic diseases, low energy and other thyroid related challenges I recommend the consumption of 12.5 milligrams of iodine daily. Your thyroid gland is the storehouse for iodine, and when a person’s body is deficient in iodine other items that are antagonistic to healthy body function take up residence, including bromine, chlorine and fluorine. If you begin a regimen which includes a large amount of iodine you will experience detoxification effects as your thyroid flushes out the negative elements and readies itself for the iodine it needs. To avoid an overwhelming detoxification effect on your body which can include flu-like symptoms a protocol that will allow you to gradually increase the amount of iodine you consume is in order. This protocol includes a low dose iodine product and then, at the graduated stage, high potency iodine products that will help you maintain healthy thyroid function.

Iodine is a trace element and an essential micronutrient. Almost 80 percent of the body’s iodine content resides in the thyroid gland where its sole function is to form part of the two important thyroid hormones – thyroxine and triiodothyronine. These hormones influence the rate of metabolism and are necessary for the regulation of normal growth and development. During our entire lifetime, we only require a little more than a teaspoonful of iodine, but since the body does not store iodine, we need to consume it regularly to support consistent thyroid hormone production. The body is able to absorb iodine in both the organic and inorganic state, both readily available in a normal, well-balanced diet. Iodine is found in iodized salt, water, oysters, fish, beef, pork, eggs, bread, dairy products, apples, cranberries, and many vegetables. As with many other nutrients, young adults and pregnant or lactating women may require somewhat greater iodine intake to support their nutritional needs.

Let’s talk about the two products I recommend:

Prolamine Iodine

How Prolamine Iodine keeps you healthy

Boosts serum iodine levels
Failure to eat a well balanced diet can result in loss of essential vitamins, minerals, and other vital nutrients, including iodine. Prolamine Iodine contains 3 mg of iodine per tablet to help your body maintain a healthy serum iodine level. Proalamine Iodine is most beneficial when used as a short-term mechanism to support serum iodine levels. In the long run, a well-balanced diet is the best way to maintain healthy levels of all nutrients, including iodine. †

Supports normal growth and development
The sole purpose for iodine in the body is to facilitate formation of thyroxine and triiodothyronine. These hormones cannot be formed without it. Triiodothyronine is the hormone intimately involved in the regulation of normal growth and development, and it is produced from the metabolism of thyroxine, which contains four atoms of iodine per molecule. These two hormones help keep young bodies and minds growing and developing at a healthy rate. †

Supports a healthy metabolic rate
The thyroid hormones boost the rate at which the body’s cells use oxygen and organic molecules to produce energy and heat. They are directly and indirectly involved with the growth and maintenance of the skeletal and nervous systems. The thyroid hormones stimulate different types of cells to perform their specific functions, such as protein synthesis, water balance, and many other physiological processes. Without iodine, this would not be possible. †

Iodorol®

High Potency Iodine/Potassium Iodide Supplement

Iodoral® is a Tablet form of Lugol solution and is available in 2 strengths

»  12.5mg/Tablet
»  50mg/Tablet

»  What makes Iodorol unique?

One 12.5 mg. tablet of Iodorol supplies an amount of total elemental iodine, comparable to the average daily intake of this essential element by mainland Japanese, a population with a very low prevalence of fibrocystic disease of the breast and breast cancer.

Iodine is an essential element. Although its main function is in the production of thyroid hormones by the thyroid gland, other organs in the body have a need for iodine in order to function normally (4).

Several studies have demonstrated a relationship between low iodine intake and fibrocystic disease of the breast (FDB), both in women and laboratory animals (1,2). The minimum amount of iodine required for control and prevention of FDB is equivalent to 0.1mg/kg body weight/day. For example, for a 50 kg woman, the daily amount of iodine would be 5 mg. The thyroid gland needs iodide to function properly. The original study done 80 years ago to control goiter in adolescent girls used 9 mg iodide daily (3).

During the early 1900’s, the iodine/iodide solution called Lugol solution was used extensively, effectively and safely in medical practice, for both low activity and above normal activity of the thyroid gland (4). The recommended daily intake for iodine supplementation was 2 to 6 drops of Lugol solution containing 12.5 to 37.5 mg total iodide. That amount was mentioned as lately as 1995 in a book on Pharmaceutical Sciences (5). Several investigators have shown convincing evidence connecting inadequate iodine intake and breast cancer (6). Japanese women living in Japan consumed a daily average of 13.8 mg total elemental iodine and they experience one of the lowest prevalence (risk) for breast, ovarian and uterine cancer (6). In the 1960’s, one slice of bread in the USA contained the full RDA of 0.15 mg iodine. The risk for breast cancer was then 1 in 20 (7). Over the last 2 decades, iodine was replaced by bromine in the bread making process. Bromine blocks thyroid function and may interfere with the anticancer effect of iodine on the breast (4). Now, the risk for breast cancer is 1 in 8 and increasing 1% per year (7).

The RDA limits for vitamins and minerals were established after World War II. One of the last essential elements included in the RDA system was iodine, established in 1980 and confirmed in 1989 (8). The RDA for iodine was based on the amount of iodine/iodide needed to prevent goiter, extreme stupidity and hypothyroidism (9). The optimal requirement of the whole human body for iodine has never been studied. Therefore, the optimal amount of this element for physical and mental wellbeing is unknown. Based on demographic studies, the mainland Japanese consumed an average of 13.8 mg daily and they are one of the healthiest people on planet earth (6). Lugol solution is a time-tested preparation with a proven track record for over 150 years. Two drops contain 12.5 mg iodine/iodide, an amount very close to the 13.8 mg average intake of mainland Japanese.

»  Formulation

Administration of iodine/iodide in liquid solution is not very accurate, may stain clothing, has an unpleasant taste and causes gastric irritation. Iodoral® is a precisely quantified tablet form containing 5 mg iodine and 7.5 mg iodide as the potassium salt. To prevent gastric irritation, the iodine/iodide preparation was absorbed unto a colloidal silica excipient; and to eliminate the unpleasant taste of iodine, the tablets were coated with a thin film of pharmaceutical glaze (10).

»  Suggested Use

The suggested daily amount is 1-4 tablets/day as recommended by your physician. Work closely with your physician and natural healthcare provider while on the Iodoral® program. Report to your doctors any history of thyroid surgery and/or radiation, chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis (Hashimoto), and any previous problem with your thyroid. Before starting Iodoral®, your doctor will order blood tests for hematology, blood chemistry and thyroid functions. If you are taking thyroid hormones, let your physician know about it. Be aware that Iodoral® enhances the response of your body to thyroid hormones (4,6). Subjects on Iodoral® feel warmer in cold environments and that is expected. However, you will need to cut down the amount of thyroid hormones if you experience palpitation, anxiety, increased sweating and intolerance to heat. That is because Iodoral® decreases your need for thyroid hormones. Keep a record of what you observe while on Iodoral® and show it to your physician and natural healthcare provider.

To test whole body sufficiency for iodine, 4 tablets of Iodoral® are ingested, followed by 24 hr. urine collection. The more deficient a subject is in iodine, the more iodine is retained by the body and the least excreted in the urine. Sufficiency is achieved when 90% or more of the ingested amount is excreted in the urine. In most subjects tested, 3-4 tablets of Iodoral®/day were required to achieve whole body sufficiency within 3 months and the body retained approximately 1.5 gm iodine at sufficiency (4,8). The best response in patients with FDB was observed with ingestion of 2 tablets twice a day (8). Click Here to view or order an Iodine Loading test.

The Importance of Nutritional Counseling

Self diagnoses and treatment based solely on information found on the web or by word of mouth can be dangerous. For example, bodies can absorb up to a 300 percent difference in supplements, so a healthy dose for one, even a recommended dose on a package, can be toxic for another. Consultations are available to help you get the right supplements and the right dose for you. Once you begin the consultation process you will receive a complete supplement recommendation that will be tailored for your heath needs using expertise gained over 30 years in practice as a DC and NHD.

I recommend supplementation primarily with Standard Process brand products which are only legally available thru a doctor/patient relationship. If you find these products for sale on the internet; this is a violation of Standard Process guidelines. The products found on the internet are not guaranteed by Standard Process to have been stored properly and many are expired. We drop ship all Standard Process lab items directly from the company’s warehouse to your door, ensuring the freshest possible supplements arrive.

Your Skin is Your Body’s Cancer Chance Report Card…

DB here! I would be concerned if I had a history of acne or any skin lesion. Your skin is the report card for how efficient and effective your body is processing all the toxins it is exposed to. Do you have a strategy to clean your body from the inside out? Do you think wearing a pink ribbon on your lapel is going to keep cancer from ruthlessly attacking your body? Has the American Cancer Society given you a logical plan to follow to prevent cancer? Do you think early detection is working? It surely isn’t preventing the problem.

Do you eat conventional meat? Do you drink tap water? Are your breasts tender with your menses? Do you have a heavy menses? Do you eat sugar? Do you want to learn more about preventing CANCER without medications? Many women are choosing to have healthy breasts removed because your mom had cancer!  Do you have a PLAN?

Join me May 30th for an in-depth workshop on Cancer PREVENTION.  Loated near Cleveland OHIO. Fly to CLE, stay at the one of two dozen hotels. Spend the weekend at Cedar Point or one of the Lake Erie Islands. Go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or one of the Several Museums while you’re here.  Go to the West Side Market in the afternoon. Make a day of it. Go to www.druglessdoctor.com for more details. We only have room for 40 attendees total and slots are filling up fast!  See you there! DB

Herbs for Life! Tele-Workshop with Dr. Bob

DB here! I am excited to host tonight’s Tele Workshop. I know most of you reading this take some type of herb or herb combination. Herbs can speed you up or slow you down. They can tonify your system; relax you so you’re calm as a cucumber. I use them for example in my clinic to take away the cravings for sweets, or build up your immune system. You can use them in your food right at home or buy them in a capsule. Regardless how you use Herbs, you would do best to add them to your strategy. We have some positions available to you and will be announcing some special opportunities for those of you who signed up: looking forward to the call. CLICK HERE for more details. DB

Energy increased naturally!!

Filed under: Uncategorized — druglessdoctor @ 4:29 pm

Well the winter is gone, except for the snow in Northern Ohio, and spring has definitely sprung with the chirping of the birds, the essence of flowers already blooming and the excitement of freshness permeating the air.  Do you feel good?  If you do not feel 100% what can you do to change it?  I had one patient tell me today when she comes into the office and receives her spinal correction she feels like a switch has been turned on!! Some of you may not have been jolted with the feeling of ENERGY in years.  Here are a few tips for you.

- You need to do twenty minutes of active exercise EVERY DAY.  I do not care what it is, but get off of your — YOU KNOW WHAT and MOVE!!
- Drink one quart of water a day minimum.  Add one-fourth of a teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt — Celtic Sea Salt adds minerals to your cells.  Think of minerals as spark plugs.
- Eat one-half of an apple every day.  Eat one-third cup of beets.  Eat one medium or four to five baby carrots. This combo will move your bowels and clear up your skin.
- Add up to 12mg of iodine to your daily routine.  Go slow; add 3mg every week until you reach a total of 12mg.  I had a new patient who traveled a great distance that told me by adding the Iodoral to her life had changed her outlook and energy.  This same person added the ABC’s before she came in.  Her skin on her face cleared up. NO KIDDING!
-  Go to bed early; at least by 10.  This is important for those of you who burn the candle at both ends; you will get adrenal gland burn out.
- Do not eat the Chocolate you got for EASTER!  You will get left neck pain and create a roller coaster of emotions.

OK, so what are you going to eat for EASTER?  I would not eat pork!!! If you eat pork you will notice you will be thirsty.  This is because your body is attempting to dilute the toxins from the pork flesh.

I would suggest turkey, lamb or chicken.  We are going to have lamb meatballs with a buttered Indian sauce that we purchased from Whole Foods.  We just had leg of lamb the other day.  I would encourage you to have yams or sweet potatoes versus white potatoes.  You could stretch it a bit and have some Kale for the brave ones.  Kale is a great source of magnesium.

You really should check out www.druglessdoctor.com – go to Contact Us.  I now Twitter daily as much as I can.  I am also blogging every day.  I just blogged about what may cause cracked heels.  Also, we have added a lot of new videos.  Be sure to watch the new video discussing each of my six books on the Books/Publications page.  The Nutritional Support Supplements page also has a new video discussing some of our most popular supplements. You will really enjoy these new videos.

Finally, are you ready for this very special announcement!!!  Yes, Yes, Yes!  We have created a Pet Survey that you can fill it out and start getting Standard Process products for your pets.  We have been studying pet health for years.  Watch the video I have our 13-year-old Maltese, Belle.  Wouldn’t it be great to supplement your pet to be healthy?

Join me! I will be in the Akron area Monday evening at 6:30 p.m.  I will be discussing Winning the Pain Game.   See the flyer below.

On April 29th we will be having our next Tele-Workshop on Alzheimer’s.  You do not want to miss that.  More information will be coming within the next week regarding this very important topic.

Navigate around the site – Enjoy - You’ll be Glad You Did!

Happy Belated Easter and Resurrection Sunday to all!  Dr. Bob
